Purpose

Get the GDX linear approximation use preference flag status

Description

Returns the current status of the GDX linear approximation use of the trimmed/bounded surface preference flag.

Return

      PDX_TRUE - Use the trimmed/bounded surface preference flag.
      PDX_FALSE - Do not use the trimmed/bounded surface preference flag.  Use
                  the parameter space curve definition in all cases if present.
