Synopsis

PDX_MSGT gdx_FaceTrimLargeSurface(long option, MDA_PTR gdxFacePtr, double factor)

Purpose

Trim large surface to face bounds.

Description

This function will compare the size of the active face area with the underlying surface area and trim the surface if it is larger than a factor bigger than the face. The vertices of the face will be used to get a rough estimate of the size of the face. The surface size will be determined by evaluating a 10x10 array of points. The actual parameter curves will be used to get the real face bounds before trimming the surface. The parameter values will be padded by 10% so the trimming curves are not too close to the surface boundaries.
