Synopsis

PDX_MSGT dxcr_BSplineSurf(long option, MDA_PTR orig_db_ptr, int closed_m, int closed_n, int degree, int mmcnt, int mncnt, long num_frame_pts, double (*frame_pts)[3], int smdens, int sndens, long num_fit_pts, double ***fit_pts, int dxf_model, MDA_PTR *dxf_db_ptr)

Purpose

Creates a DXF BSpline surface.

Description

Creates a DXF BSpline surface (quadratic or cubic) in the specified model based on data provided. The data provided must result in a valid definition.

The orig_db_ptr argument should contain the database pointer of the entity that the new entity was created from (usually this should be obtained by the calling routine via mda_GetOrigDbptr) or MDA_NULL_PTR. See the mda_intro man page for more information about predecessor entities.

This will not create the extruded form of the Bspline Surface. If you want to extrude it, you will need to change the normal field of this entity to be something other than 0,0,1

smdens

Smooth surface m density (group code 73)

sndens

Smooth surface n density (group code 74)

num_fit_pts

Number of fit points

fit_pts

Polyline fit points fit_pts[smdens][sndens][3]

dxf_model

The model for creating the DXF entity
