STEP Mapping (SMAP) Subsystem

The SMAP subsystem provides mapping functions for manipulating entities in the STEP interface. The mappings available in the SMAP subsystem are described in the smap_mappings manual page.

Before initiating any STEP mappings, it is necessary to specify whether plane angle units are in degrees or radians. The STEP plane angle units type is set by calling step_SetPlaneAngleUnit. If this is not done, the default unit will be degrees.
