Development organizations are always facing challenging demands to improve product reliability (customer satisfaction) and reduce warranty costs. The reliability challenge is compounded by the amount of new design content that is required to meet other customer requirements plus tight development budgets and schedules. Many organizations do not have product reliability management capabilities that are capable of meeting these challenges.
