The Process
ITI's Quality Function Deployment (QFD) tools and services were used to capture and translate customer requirements into product and development characteristics.
Based on these requirements, design alternatives were created, evaluated, and benchmarked against competitive tractors. These designs were tested and analyzed using ITI's simulation-led approach.
Breakthrough Results
The new tractor achieved all performance targets including increased power and Best-in-Class performance for comfort, noise, and turning radius.
Because of improved process efficiency, development costs were cut by 30% and the tractor was introduced in half the time of conventional development processes.
